All public events are subject to the The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) First Aid Regulations 1981. To ensure that you comply with the regulations and requirements of the HSE you need to follow the guidance given in the HSE Event Safety Guide.
You may prefer to obtain the services of an authorised First Aid professional provider, to ensure that all mandatory and insurance issues are adequately covered. One locally based company that specialises in providing First Aid cover at small events is First Aid Direct.
