Life on Mars Exhibition at Stockport Art Gallery

The Life on Mars exhibition, based on the award winning TV programme, has recently been unveiled at Stockport Art Gallery.

Fans of the award winning TV programme have been coming in droves to the display in full 1970s dress, to hang out at the exhibition and soak up the atmosphere.
The exhibition will continually develop with objects and artefacts being added all the time, plus visitors are encouraged to give feedback which can help change the exhibition.
Visitors to the display are already responding with great interest to the parallels that the exhibition draws between 70's issues and the present day issues.
Over the next few weeks additions will be made to the exhibition which will help to reshape and refresh the display including:
- images of people visiting the exhibition
- an installation created by Stockport College
- industry focused debate around contemporary film and TV production
The exhibition will be on display until Saturday 1st November. Stockport Art Gallery is located on Wellington Road South.
